Enzo Guerriero is the Director of Social Sustainability and Inclusion for Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Enzo comes to VANOC with a background of over thirty years of work in the public services. His experience has been in the areas of community education, community development, partnerships development, public governance and program integration.
He has both chaired and participated in diverse planning committees at a national, regional and community level. He is currently a member of the Premier's Task Force on Literacy and President of Celebrate Canada Committee for B.C. and for the past eight years at Britannia Community Services Centre.
Enzo has been involved in mobilization of community members in the inner-city around population health issues of youth, poverty, safe communities; insuring public voices are strengthened and advocating for public involvement with respect to economic inequality that impacts on children, youth and families. Enzo also has a sports management background having been Chef de Mission for both Women's Volleyball and Men's Dragon Boat World Championships.
He has also been honored with the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for his work with the Celebrate Canada Committee for BC. |
